Does a AMD FX 8150 bottleneck a GTX 970?

I recently purchased a GTX 970 and some games are still not running optimal, i think it might be because of my AMD 8150. Does anyone know if this combination is bad?

Monitor the whole thing or each core? For sure it is a bottleneck, yes indeed. You'll want to go with an I5 4690K.

No better alternative. I'd just keep what you have, it should not happen in all games, only some. Well-made multithreaded games will be fine.

You don't have to get an i5 4690k. You can just get an i5 4440 and a b85 motherboard for about $220. Itll have you set for several generations. That CPU is getting old. You shouldn't be surprised that it is bottlenecking.
