I keep reading mixed answers.
I plan to purchase a B450 Tomahawk Max 3rd Gen ready Motherboard to be used with a Ryzen 3600 CPU.
The name of the product itself highlights it is 3rd Gen ready.
But in some places people are saying I need a BIOS update, meaning I need a 2rd Gen CPU to do the BIOs upgrade, which I do not have. On the other hand some are saying it works right out of the box with no need for BIOS upgrade... Which is it?
I planned to purchase it from Amazon from the following:

If you look at the Q/A there are actual users who says it worked straight out of the box, on the other hand the seller it self has replied to similar queries saying a BIOS upgrade is needed... I am so confused.
Please help advice if anyone has experience with this Mobo or know anything about this.
A slightly related query is whether B450 is too old a Mobo and I should not be getting it at this stage and instead go for a X570?
