Does an i5 7400 fit the Z390 AORUS Pro motherboard?

I've looked at the support page under cpu and I can't find it.

Doesn't look like it. The motherboard is designed for 8th and 9th gen processors (socket LGA1151), and the one you linked is a 7th gen (socket FCLGA1151). You can tell the generation of Intel processors by the first digit of the 4-5 digit model number: i5 7400. Be sure to look closely at the CPU socket types for Intel CPUs and motherboards. Many will say 1151, however there are many different variations of it.

Fit? Yes. Work? No, Z390 only works with 8th and 9th generation CPUs even if the sockets are physically similar.
