Yea so does it bottleneck it and btw guys on 45 and lower fps the game is so sluggish I have messed with Vsync and all that shit.

No, 4HT core @ 3.06GHz, turbo to 3.33Ghz, 8MB cache will handle a 750ti and can easily hit 3.6GHz air cooled overclocked.

I have the same cpu in my spare rig, make sure in your bios you have hyperthreading on, by default it is off, enable enhanced turbo boost and high performance computing mode as well, should be an option in there. make sure you have your power profile set to performance as well.


Mine will stay at 3.15 ghz when gaming , the stock cpu heatsink is garbage atleast the one in my hp z400, check to make sure the cpu isn't overheating.

My games run great with my 7970 in there, plays just as well as my 9370 @ 4.8 ghz.


leave vysnc off, its most likely the 750ti depending on the game

and btw the profile performance is it in the bios and btw I have z400 too with GTX 750 TI ANd 8GB Ram

the z400 you can download the performance advisor to modify the bios etc from your pc, it requires a reboot but shows you all your info
