Question Does a230m-s2h support ryzen 2nd gen?

I have an ryzen 3 1200, and an a230m s2h motherboard. I was gonna upgrade to a ryzen 5 2600, but on pc part picker. It said it was incompatible and needed a bios update. (I’m running the March 2019 bios) would that bios version be fine with ryzen 2nd gen?

You got the model for your motherboard wrong. It's supported, with a BIOS update but for all intents and purposes you shouldn't be using that board to pair that processor.

ok, thanks. If you shouldnt pair these two together whats a cheap motherboard thats good and supports overclocking?
