Does adding more RAM mean faster loading times in games?

I am planning on doubling my 8gb to 16gb. And I am wondering what will that benefit me in game performance. I'm interested in speeding up my loading times cause I am experiencing long loading times with my current system. Thanks! (This is my first post here in tomshardware) 😉

No it won't speed up loading times, you need an SSD with the game installed on it to speed up loading times. Having extra RAM helps reduce stuttering but for most games 8Gb is plenty.
