hello! I'm trying to upgrade my computer except I know very little about PC. I'm trying to get my ASUS M32CD (DDR3 Systems) to go from 4GB to at least 8GB of ram to be able to multitask (gaming, editing or live streaming) and so I went on Crucial to see what RAM is compatible to my motherboard and the options is not quite a lot (Crucial 8GB DDR3L-1600 UDIMM)

they're mostly available online and I can't buy them online because I don't have credit card yet.

I was wondering if it wouldn't matter if I went and get another kind of 8GB DDR3L-1600(desktop) ??

Would it still work? or does it really have to be Crucial's 8GB DDR3L-1600 UDIMM?

Can you pas son an SKU for your unit? it should be a 6digit alphanumeric content followed after Asus M32CD-XXXXXX.

Are you sure about it being DDR3? They come up as DDR4 only. Can you download CPU-Z and pass on a screenshot of all the tabs you see on that app? Host the images on imgur and then pass on a link here for us to see. We can move forward from there.
