Does all FM2+ A88X board support 2400mhz ram

I see a lot of people saying that most board would drop it down to 2133 or lower... im curious because im looking for microATX that can support it.. anyone have any experience with it?

it will depend on the board and the BIOS used .

Depends, for example, a great board(140+) might say 1600.1866.2133.2400, etc.

But another hoard might say 1600,1866,2133(O.C.),2400(O.C.). that means you need to go into BIOS and set it to 2400, keep in mind though you will be straining the boArd, you would also need 2400 MHZ RAM and a processor that supports that speed.

The more you know. Then why does it say, for example. Gigabyte Mobo 1333mhz, 1600mhz(O.C.)?
