i'm in doubt, do you think a ddr3 or 5 video card with 2, 4 gb will help if i only have 8 gb of ram?
I have a 2gb gddr3 and a 1gb gddr5, only more powerful, but I was thinking of using the 2gb gddr3 to compensate for the capacity, not the power.

for which purpose? which motherboard and CPU are you using?

Video RAM and RAM are not the same and cannot be used like you want it to. There is a technology which is the resizable bar, but this would put RAMcapacity into the vram so the GPU could "render" more, but not the other way around

What?
More vram helps with tasks, where more vram is required.
More system ram helps with tasks, where more system ram is required.
They serve different purposes and are not interchangeable.

If your system doesn't have enough system ram, then no amount of graphics card vram will be able to help with that.
