Question Does an AMD-FX 8350 AM3+ processor works on AM3 socket !?

Hello, just a small and stupid question for most parts. Can a AM3+ CPU of AMD FX-8350 processor can be applied on AM3 socket, using a Motherboard Asus M4A87TD EVO. Thank you and kind regards.

The AM3 socket does not support FX CPU's like the 8350. Only AM3+.
