Question Does anyone use a DP splitter?

I've only used it in some occasions, but otherwise I just plug in each monitor into its own port on my graphics card.

The main limitation to MST is that you're limited to the maximum bandwidth the single port. So if the port is only good for say 3840x2160 @ 60Hz and you plug in a 4K monitor, you can't add anything else down the chain. Though you can use this to connect up to say 4 1080p 60Hz monitors.

Yes, MST hubs allow you to have multiple independent displays, not mirrored.
So what I want to do is as follows:
(1) I have PC in Room A.
(2) I have three monitors in Room B.
(3) I want to connect these monitors in Room B to PC in Room A while three monitors have independent displays (each monitor shows different contents)
(4) But I want to have three cables directly connected to DP port of PC.
(5) Can a splitter help? if so, which one?

Yes you can use a splitter to do this as long as it's using DisplayPort MST and all three monitors won't consume the bandwidth of a single DP port.

I only do office work and coding. No video games. Then DisplayPortMST for three monitors work for these work?

This is my situation. So I wish to have female to female splitters. I do not see it from StarTech. Please advise.
