im going to buy a RAM kit (8GB 2x) and i checked the specs of my CPU (i5 6400) at intel's website and it only says "DDR4-1866/2133" but the RAM kit im planning to buy is at 2400 MHz or 2666 MHz
Also my motherboard says on its specs :
2 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR4 2133 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory *
Dual Channel Memory Architecture
Supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (XMP)
in summay, my cpu says it can only support 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM but my motherboard supports XMP so im hoping that my RAM kit im going to buy supports it
