Does Chaintech VNF-250 require 2 sticks of ram?

I know it doesnt have dual ddr, but is it true it requires 2 sticks to run and wont work with just 1?

it is not. 1 stick just makes the board run in single channel mode.

10 sticks would still be running in single channel. It is a single channel board only.
