I just ordered a EVGA GTX 960 SSC card on amazon. It requires 8 pin power connector. I am planning to get Corsair VS650, does it have a 8 pin connector and secondly will it be able to handle the card?
Better quality? Are you kidding? I have the VS550 and its fantastic. Currently running an MSI GTX 760 Gaming Edition until my EVGA 970 SSC+ arrives in 2 days.
^nope. The VS units use poor quality secondary capacitors rated at only 30c. Quality units are rated at 80c+. This leads to MANY of these PSUs failing prematurely due to heat. Not recommended for heavy use or high load.

My mistake gents, I misread the title. I have the Cooler Master VS550 NOT the Corsair! And it is a great PSU. Sorry for the confusion.
