[SOLVED] DOES ECC MEMORY WORK ON MY MOBO

I have a p8h61 mobo and I wondered if any ecc ram works on my motherboard if it means that the error correcting code function doesn’t work but the memory does then I’m fine with that

According to the specs, it only supports non-ecc memory. However, on a lot of boards, you can use ecc udimms without an issue as it just ignores the ecc part. That being said, with the prices of ecc udimms what they currently are, you can sell your ecc udimms and buy at least one if not two sets of udimms as ecc udimms are really high at the moment.
