[SOLVED] does every laptop have a thermal paste

i just wonder are all the new laptop that we buy have a thermal paste ??

in my case i have an dell G7 17 7700 and when run game the CPU easy get 100 Decrete celces but the GPU is nomal just about 70 to 80

so my question is
are all the new laptop we buy have thermal paste ??

As long as the IHS needs to make contact with another surface, there needs to be an thermal interface material, so yes!

Yea they do, it’s not either a paste or in some laptops I’ve seen it’s a pad. If you’d temps are that high you may be obstructing airflow, the thermal compound is dry and needs replacing (unlikely), or there’s dust buildup obstructing any air properly getting through to the CPU. If it’s one fan then as I’ve seen the heat pipe went over the GPU and then to the CPU which may have a role to play.
