Hello

I installed my games to drive D and its filling up (about 8gb left from 980gb) its a wd black 1tb drive

Windows is installed on an nvme pcie ssd and that has plenty space but i dont want to install and delete my games on that

My question is if games are installed on D(data) drive and its filled does that negatively affect my games performance or not?

cant test it easily since for that i would have to delete and redownload the games from steam and they are like 100-150gb nowdays :/

Thank you for your help :)

Solution
Shouldn't make any difference unless the programs are heavily fragmented. And even then usually the HDD is not accessed during actual gameplay.
