MrOukus :
So I recently got a high end 8GB 1070 GTX GPU, and want to record gameplay and was wondering, when recording in game does it use most of my graphics card usage or CPU? I'm wondering cause my CPU Isn't high end and mostly mid range. and I don't want to ware it out. So does GeForce Experience Recording use majority of my CPU OR GRAPHICS CARD USAGE ? Thanks
It takes more CPU to record. The game is what is utilizing your GPU(and CPU).
Geforce Experience(Shadowplay or some such thing...They have changed names) does a good job with recording. I have a 4690/8GBRAM/970 and even with reduced settings
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWFPDxu_sPw it seems to record pretty good.
