[SOLVED] Does GIGABYTE GA-M68MT-S2 (rev. 3.1) support FX-6300?

Yes, I do checked the supported CPU list on the official gigabyte website. but it only shows FX- 6120. And yes, I do update for the BIOS. And what happen if I ignore it and just upgrade to FX6300?

You can't use FX-6300 on that board. It's not listed so a BIOS update won't do any good as far as that's concerned.

If you try to use FX-6300 your system will not POST so it can't do anything.

I have a ga 68mt-s2 rev 3.1. It should work since it has a am3+ socket and it says to update the bios in order to use to it. The amd fx 4100 is an am3+ and it works fine.
