[SOLVED] Does it matter which PCIE to nvme m.2 adapter i get ?

There's not much to it, only direct leads/wires to PCIe slot. Nothing to go wrong.

What M.2 drive are you planning to use with it?

Why wouldn't it work?
If BIOS supports booting from PCIE device, then it will work just fine.

I am not using it for a boot drive..

I will get either samsung 970 evo plus 1tb or corsair force mp600 1tb...

My mb supports pcie 3.0....so both ssds run at gen3 speeds

Every NVME drive needs NVME drivers to operate.
There's no difference, if it's in M.2 slot on motherboard or in PCIE M.2 adapter.

The one I have is not visible in the boot order menu but works perfectly within Windows. When I discovered this it looked to be the norm. Fortunately didn’t matter much to me.

Probably you're using an old motherboard, that doesn't support booting from PCIE device.
Motherboard BIOS needs to specifically support it.
