Does it matter which way the cables plug into a modular PSU?

I have recently purchased the Corsair braided cables for my AX 860 Power Supply. I was wondering if there is a specific orientation or direction for the cables when plugging them into the power supply. Will one side only fit into the PSU or will either side work with the PSU?
