[SOLVED] does it worth buying 120HZ refresh rate monitor on GTX 1060?

I'm Going to Buy GTX 1060, and i was thinking of getting 120HZ refesh rate monitor so i can make use of the extra 60+ FPS (if there will be any extra FSP?). modern games like from 2015 till now.

does it really worth it buying 120HZ monitor instead of my currnt 60HZ monitor.. or i won't be getting above 60 FPS at most games with GTX 1060?

You can see what FPS you get now. Just turn off V-sync. There are benefits with a 120hz monitor, even when you don't get 120 FPS. As far as whether it is worth it or not, that is up to you.

i didn't had the 1060 yet.. i dunno if it can reach above 60FPS in most games or not..

high refresh monitors are always worth it. Depending on the game, resolution and video settings you might very well reach high frame rates. Especially when you are playing in 1080p.

consider getting g sync for no tearing, or you will have it. cheapest monitor i found was that one i posted there is no 120hz g sync i could find on pcp
