Not counting expansion slots like PCIe, sata, usb etc. and ability to overclock, Does motherboard form factor in itself affect gaming performance?

The thing is i have two builds in mind, one mATX and one mITX. I prefer mITX one as i find it more aesthetically appealing + it has WLAN but i'm afraid the form factor might affect the performance.
I DON'T plan to use SLI or CROSSFIRE, i don't want to overclock cpu, though i might want to overclock the gpu.

the mobos i'm considering are:
matx https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/B150M-PRO-GAMING/
mitx https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B150I-GAMING-PRO-AC.html
i don't have much money to consider more expensive mobos

Solution
It wont affect you're gaming performance, with the setup you're thinking of. And the ITX board will be easier to mount in any case of your choosing. But the better sound chipset on the Asus mATX might have better controls for more immersive sound when playing games. Which depending on the game, could affect your enjoyment of it.

USB soundcard could be used if needed without impacting the slot usage.
