No not unless you have a specific reason. If you mean for CPU compatibility, a BIOS update is needed if you are using a 5th gen processor, not a 4th gen like yours.

Bios update is not necessary unless you are having serious trouble with your PC.Do bios update if you motherboard supports 2 architecture .In your case if your motherboard supports 5th gen processor and you are upgrading to 5th gen processor then you will need a bios update for that.
