Question Does my GPU keep not responding due to insufficient power?

Hey guys, as the title suggests ever since I've upgraded my PC I've been having consistent crashes and complete PC-freezes, as my graphics card often stops responding.

My specs:
CPU: R9 3900x @ stock 3.8 Ghz (with stock cooler)
Memory: 2 x 8 Gb DDR4 @ 3600 Mhz
GPU: RX 5700 XT (Red Devil)
Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX AMD AM4
Storage: 3 x 7200 RPM HDD (two 1 TB, one 2 TB), 1 x 120 GB SSD
PSU: Seasonic Focus GX 550W Modular 80+ Gold PSU

I was wondering whether this could be because of the PSU? The crashes have occurred typically on the more graphically intensive games I've played, such as Gears Tactics, despite it running buttery-smooth.
Thanks in advance,
Peter

The 5700xt requires a 600w according to AMD, so 550w MAY be an issue.

What are your CPU and GPU temps?

Have you tried testing the PC with XMP/DOCP disabled? Freezing can be a ram issue.
Cheers for the quick reply, my GPU nor CPU never really goes above 80°C, although my CPU does idle at 60°C. I do use XMP to ensure my RAM operates at 3600 Mhz, because for some reason upon installing it originally it showed in my bios as being at less than half of that, I'm not too worried about it being a memory issue however, as most of my game crashes are accompanied with an error message that complain about the graphics card not responding.
Thanks again!
