[SOLVED] Does my motherboard support NVMe SSDs?

Solution
It should work, but it looks like it will run at reduced speeds because its a x2 m.2 slot, not an x4. So you'll be capped at 1000mbps. Still faster than SATAIII though.

I own GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK motherboard and I would like to know it my motherboard supports Intel 660p M.2 2280 1TB PCIe NVMe 1TB.

What do you plan to use this drive for?
In the M.2 port, it will run much slower than its rated speed.
In an adapter in a PCIe slot, it will run at its full speed, but you may not be able to use it as a boot drive.

Support for NVMe drive in the Z97 era is spotty.
