Does my overclock sound safe?

I have a phenom II 955 x4 OC'ed at 4.0 ghz on stock voltage, I have a hyper 212+ and just wanted to get some opinions on if this is a safe overclock. I noticed a lot of people having to increase the voltage to reach 4.0 so I'm curious. I have ran prime 95 for 24 hrs and temps never go above 55C, when gaming (crysis 1920X1200 4xaa gamer settings) temps never exceed 48c. Do these temps and specs sound normal?

AMD phenom II x4 955 (clocked at 4.0 ghz)
2X2 gig corsair 1600mhz ddr3
XFX Black edition 650w psu
MSI 890gxm-g65 mobo
Hitachi 1 tb hd 7200rpm
dell 22\" lcd 1920X1200
6 120 mm case fans
hyper 212+ cooler w 2 fans
Thermaltake v3
XFX 6870
Lite-on DVD drive

ran prime 95 for 24 hrs and temps never go above 55C ( if full load test ) this is very cool & safe and max temp for AMD 60C when full load test. always keep your temp.. good job!

I thought the safe max temps for amd cpu was well beyond 60C or am I wrong?
the hyper 212+ is amazing for the price

can anyone confirm or deny amds heat envelope vs what is actually safe??
