Does my usb have to be blank to update the bios

i want to update my bios through ez flash as done in this vid.

just hesitant on weather i should move everything off my usb except the bios file

No its not necessary just remember the path or filelocation where you have copied the bios file

Bios only reads fat32. If the usb stick has been formatted ntfs previosusly then backup your data as changing format will wipe it.

Usb stick can still have stuff on it that doesn't matter long as its fat32 formatted.
