Does not recognize my new Hard Drive!

Motherboard: ECS KM400-M2 (3.0) 462(A) VIA KM400 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

This motherboard supports IDE & SATA. On My BIOS, SATA is enabled and all the connectors are connected. I try to do a windows installation from disc and it cannot find my new SATA drive.

Hard Drive: WD 500GB 7200rpm 32mb/Mo cache
