I recently bought a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750 1GB graphics card and am trying to support two monitors but when i plug in the second monitor it gives me a "no signal" message and shuts off. My main monitor is working as it should and is an Asus VH238H if that helps and the one I am trying to get to work is an Acer AL1751 (from 2007-2009) and I'm just hoping the Acer is too old and i can just get a more up to date monitor and have my solution solved. However, I have tried plugging the blue cord into two other laptops as well and they are not popping up as another monitor either. A final note is i have all the correct chords pluged into the correct places. Thank you for any help you can provide.

yes, I've narrowed the problem down to the blue cord not working when i plug it into its place where it can hook up to the motherboard. The wires are not damaged, however I have an adapter near the bottom changing the white cord outlet to a blue one and i run my chord through there and that works perfectly just not the top one on my computer so could it be a faulty piece on the motherboard? one last note, the outlet on the bottom that does work i plugged that into the small acer monitor and the display popped up like it should just like on my asus.
