Does Nvidia uninstall old drivers before installing new ones?

I was thinking about clearing out my old drivers and doing a fresh install, but when I went to uninstall them, only the current driver was present on the programs list. I installed my latest driver from an exe I got off of Nvidia's website. Does Nvidia automatically uninstall the old drivers or am I not looking in the right place?

it overwrites them, effectively removing them. To actually remove all of them then the 'clean install' option should be used or something like DDU. But if you are having no issues then you've done it ok up until now.

It can. GeForce Experience has the option to do a "clean install" when a new driver update rolls in. So it removes the driver from Windows, goes back to "standard VGA", then installs the new one.

The direct download of the driver pretty much just overwrites the old files and hands Windows the *.inf files it needs. Usually not an issue either way you go about it.
