Does Overclocking kill your CPU FASTER?

Something I'd like to point out. Just because the range for voltage is .8-1.5V, you should always try to keep it as long as possible. If you plug your CPU in and it runs at 1.25, don't just jump to 1.5 because thats the max. If you aim to take your 2.4GHz 1.25 Q6600 to 3.0GHz, start overclocking and raise the voltage in small increments ONLY when you need to. Not only will the lower voltage help keep temps down, but it should lesson the effects of electron migration. Good things if you are looking to keep your CPU healthy.

Agreed, lower voltage is better. I have a Q6600 @ a mild 3G with a VID 1.3V. I lowered it to 1.275V CPUZ of 1.264. I think the CPUZ was lower before the BIOS update, but I'm not sure. Maybe I should lower the voltage a tad more.

Enough of the jump to 1.5V out of the box.
