[SOLVED] Does Overclocking reduce lifespan of a GPU?

I overclocked my RTX 2080 Duke OC card with +90 Core/+600 Memory and it works fine.. having more FPS than usual, with like 9-10. I wanted to oc it because I play on 240Hz and needed some extra frames. Temperatures are fine, 65 °C MAX on load. I was wondering if OCing can reduce the lifespan of my GPU??? I'll upgrade my CPU/motherboard soon, but I'm planning to keep my 2080 for a long time like 2-3 years.

Before overclocks, the device is easily good for like 10 years. After OC, maybe 9.5 years.
You're going to be running a gpu for 10 years? No, you'll have replaced it in less than half that time.

Nvidia was very conservative on the power limits on their gpus. It's next to impossible to kill one via software. Users can kill their gpus by:
-having crap power supplies.
-running said gpu in a hotbox, aka, a case with little to no real airflow. The gpu is usually the first to suffer high temps in such cases.
-hacking the gpu's vbios(not something the average user would do), removing the power limits, and getting a little too carried away on the overclock.
It does, but the biggest killer is heat. So you wouldn't notice much of a lifespan deficiency as long as the card is well cooled. It's when you keep it constantly high while gaming that will start to degrade it.
