Hello!
As the title says, I installed the BIOS for X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7, but my motherboard is X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE.
I'm unsure if this makes any issues at all? I did check if they are the same and they do have the same file size/same build etc..
Right now I'm only having some freezes possibly due to ram, but I wanna make sure it's not this little mistake.

If it does matter, can I just download the correspondent version above it without issues aswell?

What was preventing you from downloading and using BIOS versions from your motherboard's support site?

I looked up both board's support sites;
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X870-AORUS-ELITE-WIFI7/support#dl
and yes they do have the same BIOS files but for the sake of relevance, to the end user reading this thread and asking the same question...you work with the files sourced off your board's support site.

If you want to risk bricking your motherboard, sure but Gigabyte is the only board maker out there that has PCB versions for their motherboard's even though they may look visually the same. If you're wondering their PCB revisions are mostly silent revisions with changes to hardware and even BIOS chips.

but I wanna make sure it's not this little mistake.
To add, you ask first, then go do. Not the other way round.

Nothing really I just messed up. I'm usually always on the right motherboard but this time I wasn't.

So since they're the same BIOS file, it's.. okay?
And if they're the same technically it can't get bricked if I do install it since it's just the same BIOS right? (Obviously I'm not going to try it but curious)

Even with same BIOS file name they may not be same. No reason not to flash right one. Even the version of same MB may matter.
