[SOLVED] Does pin count matter in buying a new ram?

Im planning on buying a new ram for my computer, Currently I have kingston ddr3 4gb ram 1600mhz . and I dont how much pins it has. And right now ram I'm currently looking to buy 2, 4gb ddr3 ram 1600mhz but different brand and it has 240 pins.

Can someone tell me how much pins my ram has or does it really matters. Thank you advance and Im sorry for my bad english

thank you so much sir! I have one more question does buying the same ram twice are just the same as buying a pair of ram, on the shop that I'm going to buy doesn't have a pair so I have to buy it twice.

No it's not same but chances of them to work together well are high.
