When I compare, I mean across models of REPUTABLE brands like FSP or Seasonic.

Is there a big difference in durability (or what else am I paying for?) when I select a higher end model like Focus instead of Core?

Light user here on Ryzen 3600, occasionally does video editing. Zero gaming. Zero OC.

If you mean with "Budget 600watt" a mediocre quality than $90 is already set too high, you get in the good quality territory there. That is the problem with people who look for "budget" psu's, spend just a little more and you are in the good quality territory, something like this.

at Newegg with that promo/rebate a very nice deal and even just for about $70,- price pretty good. Prices differ every day so if you keep an eye open can you get a deal like this without having to resort to go for a "Budget" psu (mediocre or even worse quality). Well that is US/$ talking, can be totally different in some countries...

Other good options btw,

Even within Brands are these kind of deals to be found. Will you really be able to take advantage of the better quality? Does it matter if you can get it ? Just another thing you shouldn't have to worry about.

One more thing, what gpu is in that system?
