Hey, I play GTA Online on my PC and i got 70fps but sometimes my fps drop to 1 and freeze for a split second.

Should i upgrade to Avexir DDR3 Core Red PC12800 16GB (2x8GB) or Avexir DDR3 Core Red PC12800 8GB (2x4GB)

Sorry for my bad english.

My Specs:
i5-6400 @2.70GHz
GTX 960 2GB OC
6 GB of RAM

Solution
I can confirm this, GTA V is a RAM eater, i had the same problem, my fix was:

8 GB to 16 GB, never had any stutter again.

As Rockstar improved their game throught the months / years, the game is way more demanding now since it's release for PC.

Cheers.

I am assuming that your game runs absolutely fine for about 25 to 30 minutes?

After this fps drops occur and start to get worse?

If so, this is a RAM problem. It fills up after those 25 to 30 minutes and can't load everything.

GTA can use up to 8GB of RAM! Lowering your settings is not going to fully solve this.

I have this problem as well and I will be buying more RAM soon.
