Does RAM speed, latency, and channel effect everyday use?

Hello forum,

I searched this topic before, but there doesnt seem to be very much documentation on the topic.

Anyways, I know RAM speed and etc effect gaming performance, but Im not a big gamer. Actually, my most intensive game is just GRID, and not even on the most intensive settings.

I know an SSD effects everyday use massively. It turns small little 1-2 second chugs into 0.1 second blinks. But does RAM effect this? Boot time? The loading time of programs? Etc?

as long as it is not a slow crappy ram, then no

pretty sure i saw something about it adding small fps boosts(low single digits). for everyday use who knows(depends what you do "everyday")... for casual use no.
