I have a tp link tl wr840n
I am sharing my internet with a group of people (up to 7 devices) by setting up a guest network from my router. they get to use restricted speed at not more than 6.5mbps
my internet speed is 20mbps
now my question is if I connect my pc to internal wifi and do gaming , will the guest network make any impact on my gaming performance regarding pings specially.
will it affect my pings go higher than usual?

The radios are the same between guest and non-guest. The router (or AP) just knows to only route the guest traffic to the internet. So guest traffic can definitely impact other WIFI traffic. It could impact LAN traffic IF the WIFI consumes most or all of the WAN bandwidth.
