Does soundcard matter?

I want to buy a Z270 mobo and I saw one for $125 and $150 and the only differnce is the soundcard the $125 is a Realtek ALC892 and the $150 a Realtek ALC1220.
Does this really matter? Thanks for reading!

i made a little digging and i found that there is a differece
but it sayed that anything above ALC892 is waste of money
i would go with ALC1220 but it is your money

No not at all I don't think so. All the latest motherboard have good soundcards for a normal user. Go for the cheaper one and save money for other components for your build.
