Does SSD affect game performance in any way?

I have a i7-4790 and a GTX 1070, but I still have some issues when playing Black Desert online sometimes. For example, when I walk into town for the 1st time, my game stutters a bit and my frames drop drastically for a couple of seconds. (Note: I don't have an SSD at all on my PC atm)

What are your opinions on this?

Also, what SSD would you guys recommend me buying? I'm planning on getting one just for overall faster loading screens.

I would go for one of these:

Crucial MX300
Samsung 850 EVO
ADATA SP550
Kingston V400

You can choose which one suits you best from the below link:

You can choose M.2 NVME SSDS as well if it supports your Config.

Good Luck.:) Peace.
An SSD is great for Windows, but the majority of people (I believe) still use 7200 RPM HDD's for gaming drives.
I would think your GPU or internet connection quality might affect that kind of problem most, but I've never played the game. You'd think the GTX 1070 is more than enough. Does Google show any similar complaints with your set up and that game?
What's the rest of your set up? Mobo? RAM? PSU? BIOS version?
What are your system temperatures like? What utilization of the CPU and GPU are you getting?

SSD can effects the games loading time in a small proportion. Rest everything is done buy GPU, RAM and CPU. And i don't think it will effect the frame rates. If you're having frame rate issues, SSD isn't what you need. Your GPU is is the key component there, and upgrading to an SSD will not make a difference. So it depends on you if you need one.
