Hello there,
I recently got this Graphic card for my kit, thing is my monitor has only one VGA Port while the graphic card has 1 HDMI, 1 Display Port and 1 DVI-D Ports. So I need your help knowing whether I can use a passive adapter or not and which of the ports from the graphic card should I use for that while I save some money to upgrade my old monitor.
Thank you all!

Solution
No, the graphics card doesn't support a passive adaptor for VGA.

You need DVI-I to use a passive DVI to VGA adaptor. The other outputs both requires an active adaptor as well.

DVI-D is digital only and VGA is analogue only. DVI-I is digital AND analogue in one, which is why you can use a passive adaptor for that type of output.
