Does the Asus Maximus VII Ranger support 2.1 speakers?

I can't seem to search it in google and neither does the specs page for the ranger show if it supports 2.1 speakers.

Can anyone confirm if the Ranger is capable of this?

I'm almost certain it supports up to 7.1, or 8 channels.
