Question Does the black sticker where the NVME drive goes need removed?

I plan on putting a drive here, I actually did, but believe I have the wrong type of NVME drive. I'll post a picture, it doesn't say remove, I lensed the square and it just gave me some information on the laptop, so confused and everything talks about the actual NVME sticker. I am talking about the black sticker in the NVME drive slot for the record. I'm having trouble posting a picture, not sure why it is so difficult. It's just a very thin strip in the nvme slot on the bottom.

Where? You've posted this tread in the Laptop General Discussion section, please add the make, model and SKU to the laptop and the slot you're trying to work with.

Can't believe how hard it was to upload that that photo. I guess have a sata NVME drive and it takes a PCI drive, likely went to cheap, I'll still find a place for it no big deal. It's like a black film, but I see no insrtuctions to remove, but wonder if it's causing it to not read the drive.

The nvme model was discontinued on Temu and I can't find it, so it's fine Ill just put it my pc.
