does the dell ultrasharp U2715H good for gaming ?

I have an old 22 inch 60hz Xerox monitor
and I want to buy a 1440p monitor
I was thinking on buying th s2716dg
it has 1ms respond time but it is a tn panel

there is the U2715H in my local store it's cheapest
and ips panel
but it has 8 ms respond time
people said your games and even moving the mouse or open a folder will be very slow

what do you say
whch one to get ?

It's fine. Response time doesn't really mean much.
