Hello,
I have the Gigabyte H110-D3A motherboard. I'm 100% sure it has M.2 support, based on the box, advertising, and the literal port on the motherboard. I was just curious if it had M.2 NVME support. At first, I didn't think it did, because after all, it is not advertised anywhere. However, I was on BIOS today, and noticed some NVME options. I wanted to make sure it did have NVME support before I purchased a new SSD. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your help! I did previously send out a message to Gigbyte before I saw your response. Your explanation definitely makes sense, but who knows, maybe there is a miracle. Again, thanks for your help and fast responses.

I'll 100% guarantee that there won't be any miracle... their response will confirm it.

There are also a lot of people who tried an nvme on that motherboard all ending with the same result... not recognised, here:

From your motherboard manual it appears that only M.2 SATA SSDs are supported.

Here's the manual reference:

Yes, the same thing appeared on my box. I just find it weird that my BIOS would have any mention of NVME support, let alone a functional section, if it did not have support. Is it possible that there was an update made to the motherboard that allowed for NVME? I do know that there have been previous updates with BIOS and what not. Thanks for your response!

Nope... there's no way your motherboard will recognise a NVME SSD unfortunately.

A BIOS update won't be able to fix that... the only way to get it working is by buying a new board.

Well that confirms it. Just a case of reused BIOS.
