Hello i have just purchased this cpu and was wondering if the IHS is soldered on?

I would like to have a copper IHS installed if possible

Do any of you know of a business that offers delid and relid services in the USA?

Why would you wish to do so on a power limited CPU choice in the first place?
I can hardly imagine an installation or use case that a T skew would be a temperature problem.
Thanks for your reply
You are right it doesn't need it in most cases or scenarios
But in my case it would be helpful
I am building a PC inside a Playstation 2 case 19 degrees C cooler would be most welcome

What are you basing that expectation on, if you don't mind my asking?

This is a 35W CPU with a TJunction of 100*C. I cannot see how you can expect to hit that temperature even inside a PS2 case. This install situation would also tend towards the assumption that iGPU will be used?

I saw that website and got excited but then realized its in another country and was wondering if there was such a service in the USA.

I don't feel comfortable with mailing a processor outside the US for modification then getting it back and who knows what happens then. Could be great or could be bad.

I didn't take the foreign website at there word, that is why i asked online first whether or not the IHS comes off.

I wanted to make sure that it actually comes off.

There was one literally called Silicon Lottery, which was based in Texas, but the business closed 3 years ago.

10th gen IHS is soldered - delid is possible, but the solder increases risk.
Check Der8auer's Delid Die Mate 2, which is stated compatible with 10th gen if you're still up for attempting it yourself.

How often is a CPU suppost to be delided and relided? I wouldn't attempt it myself, I probably would break it lol, I would do it to older cpus myself though cause there cheaper.

How often, literally never. The IHS is not intended to be removed by anyone, at any point after the CPU is shipped and sold.

Enthusiasts do it achieve better temperatures or reach higher overclocks. Given recent changes in CPU boost behavior, this is less and less necessary.
