This goes to show that some thermal will dry up if your chip is running too hot. If it's better quality stuff, then it wont. If you didn't apply the thermal grease, then you really can't tell what it is. Maybe try using the compressed air, but if that doesn't work, then maybe try reapplying thermal paste. (get the good stuff, like AS3)Running at a core speed of 240mhz my Gainward Ti200 pumps out almost as much heat (if not more) as my Pentium II 300mhz CPU which has a heatsink about five times the size of the Corb. The point of this is that at high temperatures silicon-based grease dries up and decreases performance significantly.
