I have delidded multiple cpus from 7700k, 10980xe and 13900k with no issues and now delidded 14900k but I was little impatient but not too much and used scotch Brite wool not steel to polish with moderate pressure, now there are several micro scratches on the side which I feel shouldn't be a problem based on my past experience but it's been 2 years since I delidded so not sure I had enough patience this time, attaching a picture and pls let me know what you think, I am going to install this tomorrow, thank youhttps://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/06mq...ey=8vdjl4bw9png7t3rfewojvewj&st=hp256frq&dl=0

You won't know until you've tested it.
Installed it today and all is well, by the way I am not sure how to set the power settings for this CPU as at Intel default I am only getting 18960 in cinebench and I disabled cep to draw more power and set llc to 5 and the application crashes, in 13900k I have been using prior to upgrade with cep disabled it worked fine and I had cinebench score of 41200 but this 14900ks don't want to play nice, do you know how to help me to improve performance, thanks.

18k in cinebench sounds like most of the cores aren't even functioning. You sure you didn't turn off the E-cores?
With the recent microcode update unless I turn off cep or set llc to like 7 or 8 the CPU won't get enough power to compute and maxes out at 170w power usage, but turning off cep is not advised as it can damage the CPU, and no none of the e cores are turned off
