Does this firewall need CPU & RAM Cisco PIX-515?

I got this Cisco PIX-515 firewall, opened it up and found an empty Socket 7 and empty Cisco RAM slots.
My question is the following:
1 Are those just expansions or does it need those slots to be fitted with CPU & RAM?
2 What could it be worth in its current state?

Thanks. But, I've posted a link to its product page myself. Still wondering if any of those onboard chips allow it to work with those slots empty.

2. Would be great for keeping documents from leaving your desk, or ensuring a door does not close.

I have never seen one without the cpu chip so I am going to bet it is required. Some pix devices had a encryption co processor but I forget which.

This is a extremely old device. I doubt it is worth much even complete. I suspect someone took the cpu and memory because that has more value than the rest I suspect.

Well I've looked around and it seems it goes for about 65 usd, complete. I very much doubt that the custom cisco ram or a socket 7 cpu would be worth more than this device though.
I'm going to put it up on ebay for 30 bucks anyway.
